Multiverse Software LLC is a small, educator-focused technology company with deep experience in programming, servers, networking, and education. We design and build modern, secure software that solves real-world problems for schools and organizations—starting with Career & Technical Education. Our work is driven by firsthand experience in both IT and the classroom, allowing us to create solutions that are practical, scalable, and easy to manage.

At the core of our offerings is the Multiverse Software Platform, a federated application platform that allows organizations to build and manage their own “universe” of applications in one place. Much like owning a home instead of renting, our platform gives customers control over their data, configurations, and long-term equity. Your information is not scraped, sold, or locked behind proprietary systems—what you build on Multiverse remains yours.

Our primary application today is Revolution, a modern CTE management system designed to replace legacy competency-tracking tools while going far beyond them. Revolution tracks the entire lifecycle of a CTE student, from enrollment and competency scoring through completion, post-program outcomes, and eventual re-engagement as business partners, employers, or mentors. Built for scale and long-term archival needs, Revolution supports districts of all sizes while meeting state and federal reporting and retention requirements.

Multiverse Software products are web-based, securely hosted, and under active development. We emphasize strong security practices, including encrypted data at rest, hardened configurations when required, and robust backup strategies with onsite, offsite, and air-gapped cloud storage. Our goal is simple: remove unnecessary technical complexity so educators and administrators can focus on students, instruction, and outcomes.

When you work with Multiverse Software, you’re supporting a small business focused on building quality software—not maximizing shareholder profits. We believe the best products are created through close collaboration with the people who actually use them.

Leadership

Corey Hitt
Founder & General Manager

Corey Hitt brings more than two decades of experience across government IT, public education, and software development. After graduating from Lloyd C. Bird High School in 1998, Corey began his career with Chesterfield County Government, where he worked with enterprise systems including Windows Servers, UNIX, AS400, and IBM mainframes. He later transitioned to Chesterfield County Public Schools’ IT department, supporting instructional technology at the high school level.

In parallel with his IT career, Corey co-founded a web-based Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) platform for hospitals, gaining hands-on experience building and supporting SaaS applications. In 2011, he completed the career switcher program and became a CTE instructor at the Chesterfield Technical Center, teaching computer networking through the Cisco Academy. This combination of IT leadership and classroom experience directly informs the design and direction of Revolution and the Multiverse Software Platform.

Glenda Lewis
QA & Training Specialist

Glenda Lewis began her IT career in 1996 as an Office Assistant at the CTE Resource Center. After several promotions, she received a BS degree in Information Technology from the University of Richmond in 2005. During that time, she began creating documentation and training modules for teachers and administrators to support a custom, open-source Linux-based competency-tracking system, delivering both onsite and virtual professional development across the state. She retired from the CTE Resource Center after 23 years as an IT Administrator.

Having worked together with Corey for many years on a competency-tracking system, she now plays a key role in quality assurance, documentation, and training, ensuring that Multiverse Software products are intuitive, reliable, and supported by clear, educator-friendly resources.
